Product sales
For small retailers UTS offers a simple solution, which helps to track daily sales revenue.

Complete this short instruction to make UTS your personal assistant that keeps track of your sales figures.

1. Specify the target: "Revenue" measured in "$" and aggregated with "SUM" 2. Define the unit: "Item" 3. Create the matters: "Product sales" of "Number" type, measured in "Item", and linked to the "Revenue" target 4. Within "Product sales" matter list as items all your products. For each product specify corresponding value of "Revenue" target, calculated per 1 item (i.e. product price). For example: "Book #98598" ("Revenue" = 10.50 $) "Book #99403" ("Revenue" = 75.20 $) "CD #7648" ("Revenue" = 62.00 $) ... 5. Each time you've sold something, select a corresponding product from item list, enter number of items sold and tap "Add".

To see the overall daily revenue just go to "Charts" screen and choose "Revenue" from target list. Tap a chart bar to see the values that compound the day's total. To see the week's figure open "Table"-tab and look at the "Total" row.

For example: "Primary consultation" ("Project cost" = 2 $) "Standard consultation" ("Project cost" = 2.8 $) "Exclusive consultation" ("Project cost" = 3.9 $) ... 4. Each time you begin a consultation, select a corresponding type of consultation from item list and tap "Start". 5. Tap the clock icon, in the timer list, to stop the corresponding timer when you finished the consultation. UTS will automatically calculate the overall price you client should pay for your services.

1. Define the units: "Document" "Symbol" "Page" = 1800 "Symbol" 2. Specify the target: "Text volume" of "Number" type, measured in "Pages", and aggregated with "SUM" 3. Create the matter: "Translation" measured in "Document" and linked to the "Text volume" target 4. Within "Translation" matter list as items all your habitual tasks and their volumes as target values: "Press release" - 1 page "Standard contract" - 2 pages "Newsletter" - 1.5 pages ... 5. Each time you have processed one of these documents choose a corresponding document type form item list, enter number of documents processed and tap "Add" button.
